CHRISSIE BOWKER

A born producer with an eye for innovative design and event production, Chrissie Bowker is the Founder and CEO of Chrissie Bowker Projects.

As a current board member of the Comox Valley Women’s Network, past board member of the Community Foundation, Chamber of Commerce and Business Improvement Association, and a certified Business Leadership graduate, she brings her deep understanding of small to large business needs in marketing and event production to each project she works on.

Chrissie is a visionary with a mind for producing remarkable moments. Her passion for design and experience in consulting began as early on as a fashion merchandiser for several international brands across Western Canada. A jump across the pond led her to a career in the film industry, publishing throughout Europe at film festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Moscow and London, for over a decade. More recently, as director of product development and digital media, working with 100+ locations across Western Canada. Chrissie was the creator and driving force behind events such as International Women's Day (IWD), an annual event that offers scholarships and inspires women to lift one another up through creative connections and collaborations, and the annual Local Hero Awards, which continue to celebrate and recognize the amazing individuals that perform exceptional acts of service, making our communities such a vibrant place to live, work and play.

From concept creation to final execution, Chrissie is a true powerhouse with a clear capacity to partner the right professionals with the right purpose. Whether it’s an intimate VIP event, corporate fundraiser or video production Chrissie puts her creativity to good use by ensuring a unique, memorable and tailored experience for all.
